In this webinar, TeachTown's very own Director of Training, Angel Filer, M. Ed, BCBA, highlights the main features of TeachTown Basics:
TeachTown Basics offers a blend of computer- delivered and teacher-led ABA instruction proven to increase a student’s vocabulary, listening skills, social-emotional development, independence, academics, and cognitive skills.
Data are automatically captured and tracked and can be shared among team members to set program goals. Student progress reports and graphs are available to everyone on the education team. Each student’s information can be synchronized across multiple locations from a secure server, allowing TeachTown Basics to be accessible whether your student is at school or at home!
TeachTown Basics targets 6 key learning domains and 5 developmental levels:
Generalization activities are a fundamental part of TeachTown Basics. Such activities are necessary for students to generalize acquired skills to more naturalistic, real-world settings.
Our program offers 450+ generalization lessons that are written clearly and concisely, making them easy to implement for educators, para-educators, and caregivers. These generalization lessons target the same six learning domains and eight levels as the computer curriculum, and each activity is linked to one or more lessons in the TeachTown Basics software.
The 450+ Generalizations lessons are distributed across the six learning domains and eight developmental levels — you will
find scores of activities to benefit each and every student in your classroom, regardless of their ability level.
