Today, there are federal laws in place to protect and support the education that students with disabilities receive. However, the question still remains as to whether or not these students are receiving access to the same quality of education as their neurotypical peers. Though school districts may be putting forth their best effort to educate their most complex learners, often they do not have the funding, training, and/or resources to provide an inclusive, accessible, and equitable education for all students.

In this eBook, we will define equitable and inclusive learning, navigate federal requirements, and outline different strategies that can contribute to bridging the gap for inclusion, equity, and access to the general education curriculum for our students with moderate to significant needs.
